FMA have just achieved Practical Completion of Phase 1 of the restoration of the historic Grade I Listed Whitfield Tabernacle in Kingswood, a severely dilapidated ruin on the Historic England Building at Risk Register.
With the initial stage of the project complete – the stabilisation and restoration of the building envelope, including full replacement of the windows and complete re-roofing, Phase 2 is now underway and will convert the building into a community arts space, at an overall project value of £2.8m.
