FMA are delighted to announce the practical completion of the newly refurbished Riverside and Temple commercial units in the centre of Keynsham, with new tenants taking occupation and starting to use the spaces.
The project has been delivered in collaboration with B&NES, VINCI Construction, Skeletal, Method Consulting and Atkins. The vacant units have been brought back into active use to support the ongoing regeneration and revitalisation of Keynsham High Street.
Sustainability was a key consideration throughout the refurbishment. Wherever possible, demolition was minimised to retain the existing building fabric, helping to reduce the overall carbon impact of the works. Where new elements were required, the walls and windows were upgraded to improve the thermal performance and energy efficiency of the building.
The arrival of a Dance School, Pilates Studio and Baby Café brings a vibrant mix of new uses to the High Street. With one further unit available for occupation, we look forward to seeing the scheme continue to develop and make a positive contribution to the future of Keynsham town centre.
