After 2 years of design development and consultation, FMA have submitted a detailed planning application for over 200 new homes in Bedminster, South Bristol for PG Group, located at the former home of Selco Builders Merchants.
Before submitting the proposals, consultation was undertaken with local residents, Bristol City Council and Design West, which helped to inform the final proposals.
The scheme consists of 219 one and two bed apartments, split into a series of buildings – a taller gateway building, fronting onto the Sheene Road / Malago Road junction, and a lower courtyard building to the south-west of the site. The project is proposed to be a car-free development, which has enabled us to introduce a new soft-landscaped public realm throughout the site for future enjoyment by residents and the wider public.
