Newark Works, the last surviving 19th-century engineering site of Stothert & Pitt in Bath Quays, is entering its final phase of regeneration. With works starting in July 2025, Building 4 – a derelict former Smithy – will be restored into 5000 sq ft of modern workspace. This final stage preserves key heritage features such as exposed brickwork, steel beams, and high ceilings in this interesting but unloved industrial building, balanced with careful contemporary interventions transforming them into two light-filled, 2500 sq ft studios. The building is perfectly located in Bath’s Enterprise Zone near Bath Spa Station and Mokoko Bakery, and completes the Newark Works creative business community.
FMA are pleased to be supporting our long-term Client TCN UK in getting this fantastic building delivered. Stay tuned for further progress updates…
