FMA’s work on the world famous Iron Bridge has been featured as a precedent in a report on architectural conservation design by the RIBA, ‘Design Matters: Conservation, Modernisation & Adaptation of Existing Buildings’. The ‘Design Matters’ report  can be downloaded for free here.

In addition to conservation on the Iron Bridge, FMA developed a visitor walkway beside the bridge to help English Heritage to engage thousands of visitors with the historic structure, its design and construction, and the methods of conservation.
