The repair, alteration and extension to a three-storey family house in the Cotswolds.
Keepers Cottage, set in a conservation area in the Cotswolds was originally built as two separate dwellings and has, over a period of time, been poorly altered and extended for use as a single-family dwelling.
Ferguson Mann Architects were brought on board to remove the inappropriate additions, re-order the house to function as a modern family home. This included sensitively extending the property to the side and rear, in a manner that was sympathetic to the original but that was also distinctively new.
Quality materials were used throughout including stone and timber facades, stone and natural slate roofs, and high-performance timber windows.
