James Crick

Senior Architect

James graduated in 2011 and joined the practice in 2017. Prior to joining Ferguson Mann, he worked with Donald Insall Associates in London and Bath. James is an architect accredited in building conservation (AABC).

Trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture, James’ interests focused on the re-appropriation of traditional building craft within a contemporary design context. This developed into a passion for creative re-use and new design within the historic environment.

Much of his experience has focused on the repair and adaptation of challenging heritage sites within the South East. James is experienced in working on projects involving upgrading and alterations to listed buildings, including planning and technical issues. He also has experience of working with complex client bodies, as well as project management and contract administration.
